Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development, Vocational Training & Skills Development and Youth Affairs,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) there is a place of tourist attraction known as “Lunugala Besamwala” in the Badulla district; and
(ii) that place and its environment have been affected by severe environment pollution?
(b) Will he inform this House of the steps the Ministry intends to take to minimize environment pollution taking place at that place?
(c) If not, why?
