An Act is a piece of legislation formally enacted by the Parliament, outlining legal regulations and requirements for specific matters.

The interruption of parliament proceedings until a later scheduled date and time.

A change proposed to a bill/motion during the legislative process.

A legislative proposal (Bill) authorizing government expenditure for a specific financial year to be passed by Parliament which is called Budget.

A proposal for new legislation or an amendment to existing legislation presented to the Parliament for debate and approval.

A Committee chaired by the Speaker and includes nominated members of representing recognized political parties in Parliament. It determines the business of the House and time allocation for Parliamentary Business

A group of government Ministers appointed by the President in consultation with the Prime Minister to head various Ministries. The President shall be the Head of the Cabinet.

A group of Members of Parliament appointed to study and report on specific subject matter in detail
