    1. 517/2020 Hon. Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam,— To ask the Minister of Fisheries,— Is he aware that— the livelihoods of local fishermen who are engaged in offshore fishing in the Northern and Eastern provinces are severely impacted owing to not using the permission granted to use Cache Nets in fishing industry subject to certain restrictions, in the proper manner; and it has become mandatory to implement solutions using latest technology as controlling this has become a difficult task? Will he inform this House of the measures to be taken to solve the above problem? If not, why?
