Hon. D. Weerasingha,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries,—
(a) Will he inform this House of the—
(i) number of rice research institutes in Sri Lanka;
(ii) areas where the said institutes are located;
(iii) different varieties of rice introduced by each research institute; and
(iv) recommended cultivation areas for each of these rice varieties?
(b) If not, why?
