Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha,— To ask the Minister of Power and Energy,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of rooftop solar panels currently available in Sri Lanka;
(ii) of the contribution of aforesaid panels to the national grid from 2018 to date;
(iii) of the amount that the Ceylon Electricity Board should settle to the rooftop solar panel owners, by now;
(iv) of the steps to be taken for the prompt payment of aforesaid amount; and
(v) of the measures that are being taken to promote renewable energy sources?
(b) If not, why?
