Hon. Jayantha Samaraweera,— To ask the Minister of Irrigation,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the extent of land that belongs to the Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka;
(ii) of that, the extent of land that has been developed at present; and
(iii) out of the lands belonging to the above mentioned Authority, the extent of land that has been reserved for residential purposes;
in respect of each Mahaweli Zones, district and Divisional Secretary’s division in Hectares, separately?
(b) Will he also inform this House of the extend of Mud and Dry lands that have been given to each family unit living in the Mahaweli Zones at present in Hectares, separately?
(c) If not, why?
