Hon. Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Is she aware that —
(i) Bt/ Kayankuda Kannahi Vidyalaya in Batticaloa West Education Zone and Bt/ Korakkallimadu Sri Ramana Maharishi Vidyalaya in Kalkuda Education Zone belong to the IC category;
(ii) students from Bt/ Kayankuda Kannahi Vidyalaya won the first place at the national-level in Elle and students from Bt/ Korakkallimadu Sri Ramana Maharishi Vidyalaya won the first place at the national level in Kabaddi; and
(iii) however, physical training instructors have not been appointed to the schools concerned up to now?
(b) If so, will she inform this House whether steps will be taken to appoint physical training instructors to these schools?
(c) If not, why?
