Hon. Kins Nelson,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the—
(i) annual maize production of Sri Lanka in each of the years from 2015 up to now separately;
(ii) amount spent in each year on importing maize during the period referred to above if such importation has occurred during such period separately; and
(iii) actions that will be taken to increase the maize production in Sri Lanka?
(b) If not, why?
