Hon. (Dr.) Kavinda Heshan Jayawardhana,— To ask the Minister of Urban Development, Construction and Housing,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he is aware that the Ragama-Peralanda tank is situated in the Ja-Ela Pradeshiya Sabha area;
(ii) of the date on which the tank concerned was chosen to develop as the ‘Landscape Project’;
(iii) of the expected objectives of the project mentioned above;
(iv) of the amount of money spent on the said project as at present;
(v) whether he is aware that the above-mentioned project has been halted by now; and
(vi) if so, of the action that will be taken in that regard?
(b) If not, why?
