Hon. M. T. Hasen Ali,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) Mr. A.N.M. Thahir, S.P.C. (25878), who was serving at Horowpathana Police Station has retired on medical grounds with effect from 06.06.2009, as per the Circular bearing No. 190/2009 and dated 30.12.2009 issued by the Inspector General of Police; and
(ii) the relevant recommendation for absorption of this person who has been appointed to the Regular Police Service with effect from 24.02.2006 was referred to the Ministry of Defence by a letter bearing No. Staff/DIG/IG/Out/259/11 and dated 04.10.2011?
(b) Will he inform this House whether steps will be taken to absorb Mr. Thahir into Regualr Police Service and grant him the allowances paid at the retirement and the relevant salaries speedily ?
(c)If not, why ?
