      Hon. P. Harrison,— To ask the Minister of Child Development and Women’s Affairs,—

      (a) Will he state—

      (i) whether the government has planned, to provide a fresh glass of milk to the children of  2 to 5 years of age;

      (ii) the number of children, eligible to obtain a fresh glass of milk by now, accordingly;

      (iii) the amount of money that had been allocated in the budget 2013, in that regard; and

      (iv) the amount of money spent for the provision of fresh milk for each child?

      (b) Will he inform this House of—

      (i) the number of registered pre-schools in Sri Lanka by now;

      (ii) the number of children who studied in pre-schools during the year 2013; and

      (iii) the date when a national policy on pre-schools which is a current requirement of Sri Lanka will be implemented after formulating it?

      (c) If not, why?
