      Hon. Ashok Abeysinghe,— To ask the Minister of Highways, Ports and Shipping,—

      (a) Will he state—

      (i) whether the road from Mallawapitiya to Rideegama in Kurunegala will be developed and carpeted; and

      (ii) the period of time that will be taken for the aforesaid work?

      (b) If not, why?
