Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education and Research,—
(a) Is he aware that the admission of students to the Faculty of Allied Health Science of Peradeniya in the coming years after the first three batches should be enrolled in consultation with all the relevant parties including the Government Medical Officers Association as per the ruling of the Supreme Court delivered by a three member bench including the then Chief Justice Mr. Sarath Nanda Silva on 01.06.2009 in respect of the Allied Health Degree Course?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) the parties which are referred to as the relevant parties in the above ruling;
(ii) whether discussions have been held with those parties by now;
(iii) if so, separately, the dates on which the said discussions were held; and
(iv) the decisions taken at the said discussions?
(c) If not, why?
