Hon. (Al-Haj) A. H. M. Azwer,— To ask the Minister of Resettlement,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) approximately, 300 families reside in Paleyakamam, Murassumottai, Settrakkandi-first stage and Ayyenkoviladi areas of Murassumottai Grama Seva division in Kandawalai Divisional Secretariat Division of Killinochchi; and
(ii) aforesaid area has been neglected without carrying out any development work even if four years have been elapsed since the resettlement of aforesaid people?
(b) Will he state whether the steps will be taken—
(i) to renovate the wooden bridge that is found on the access road to Ayyenkoviladi village since it is in a precarious condition; and
(ii) to supply electricity to the village for which electricity has not been supplied up to now?
(c) If not, why?
