Hon. (Al-Haj) A. H. M. Azwer,— To ask the Minister of Highways, Ports and Shipping,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) the main road which provides access from Deltota Town to locations such as the Deltota Government Hospital, Malaimagal Hindu Central College and Deltota Muslim Central College is in a dilapidated condition due to non-renovation over a long period of time; and
(ii) the people who use this dilapidated road have to face severe difficulties?
(b) Will he state whether action will be taken for the prompt renovation of the above road for the welfare of the people of Deltota?
(c) If not, why?
