Hon. A. Vinayagamoorthy,— To ask the Minister of Resettlement,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) three thousand (3000) people from Thayiddy and five thousand (5000) people from Myliddy in Valikamam North area have not yet been resettled;
(ii) the said people have been in Camps for the last 20 years; and
(iii) Sri Lanka Army is not allowing them to resettle?
(b) Will he state—
(i) as to when the aforesaid people are to be resettled; and
(ii) whether a directive will be given to the Sri Lanka Army that the said people be allowed to resettle?
(c) If not, why?
