Hon. Hunais Farook,— To ask the Minister of Mass Media and Information,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the names and educational qualifications of the officers who hold the posts of the Director and the Controller;
(ii) of the names and the educational qualifications of the officers who are serving on acting basis covering the duties of the aforesaid positions;
(iii) of the number of permanent announcers serving; and
(iv) separately of the name and educational qualifications of each of such announcers;
in the ‘Thendral’ Service of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation?
(b) Will he also inform this House whether appointments to the positions mentioned in (a) (i) and (a) (ii) above have been given in accordance with the due procedure?
(c) If not, why?
