Hon. Mohamed Aslam,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education and Research,—
(a) Is he aware that vacancies do exist in the posts of Lecturer, Clerk and Clerical Assistant at the Department of Arabic and Islamic Civilization, which was started within the Faculty of Arts of the University of Colombo in the year 1995?
(b) If so, will he inform this House whether steps will be taken to fill all those vacancies?
(c) If not, why?
