      Hon. Shantha Bandara,— To ask the Prime Minister and the Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth and Cultural Affairs,—

      (a) Is he aware that—

      (i) the Ministry of Economic Development of the previous government had taken action to develop infrastructure facilities; and

      (ii) a large amount of money had been allocated for the above purpose at Divisional Secretariat Division level for the year 2014?

      (b) Will he state—

      (i) whether action has been taken to release the ‍allocations for the completed work which functioned under the above (a) (ii); and

      (ii) the courses of action that will be taken with regard to some of the work that have been stopped halfway due to heavy rains?

      (c) If not, why?
