Hon. Gitanjana Gunawardena, — To ask the Minister of Tourism and Sports,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether the construction work of the pavilion, Phase II of the Philip Gunwardena sports complex, in Seethawakapura Urban Council area in the Avissawella electorate has been completed;
(ii) if so, of the date on which the aforesaid pavilion will be commissioned; and
(iii) whether arrangements will be made to transfer the ownership of the aforesaid sports complex to the Seethawakapura Urban Council after the sports complex has been commissioned as per the request that has been made by that Council for such transfer in order to make improvements to and carryout the maintenance of the sports complex by that Council?
(b) If not, why?
