Hon. T. Ranjith De Soysa,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child , Youth and Cultural Affairs,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) the name of the present Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption;
(ii) whether another permanent post is held by the said person in any other institution;
(iii) if so, whether the said second post had been obtained in terms of chapter xxx of the Establishments Code and the procedures stated in the relevant circulars;
(iv) whether the said person has held a post of advisor or any other post in other government institutions prior to this;
(v) if so, those positions held;
(vi) whether the said person has obtained these positions by following the procedures mentioned in chapters xii-xxx of the Establishment Code and the relevant circulars;
(vii) whether salaries, allowances or other privileges have been obtained for the aforesaid positions;
(viii) the years and the months during which the aforesaid salaries, allowances and privileges have been obtained;
(ix) whether the details of salaries of the said person will be presented on monthly or annual basis;
(x) whether the said person has obtained opportunities for foreign tours and other privileges from the other government institutions;
(xi) if so what those privileges are; and
(xii) under which chapter of the Establishments Code have those privileges been obtained?
(b) If not, why?
