Hon. T.B. Ekanayake,— To ask the Minister of Housing and Samurdhi ,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the manner in which action will be taken to get labour contribution to the development projects of the year 2015 coming under the "one activity for one village" programme as per the recommendation for getting 25% of the labour contribution needed for them;
(ii) whether a system will be proposed to provide the initial expenditure needed for the aforesaid project;
(iii) if there are projects for which 25% of labour contribution cannot be obtained, the manner in which such projects will be implemented; and
(iv) whether action can be taken to reduce the labour contribution up to 5% on such occasions?
(b) If not, why?
