Hon. D. V. Chanaka,— To ask the Minister of Housing and Construction,—
(a) Will he inform this House whether a housing programme that costs Rs. 250,000/- was implemented under the Housing Development Programme by the National Housing Development Authority?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the names of the Divisional Secretariat Divisions and the locations of the lands in which the aforesaid programme is being implemented;
(ii) whether the relevant plots of land have been identified by the District Land Use Committee when those lands were distributed;
(iii) separately, the number of beneficiaries selected based on each Divisional Secretariat Division;
(iv) the names and addresses of those beneficiaries and the methodology adopted to select them;
(v) the names of the public officers who participated to select the beneficiaries; and
(vi) whether the qualifications of the beneficiaries who were selected to own a land are at a satisfactory level?
(c) If not, why?
