Hon. Buddhika Pathirana,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs,
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of dogs deployed for the service in the three armed forces of Army, Air force and Navy separately as per each force;
(ii) of the expenditure borne on the upkeep of the aforesaid dogs separately as per each force; and
(iii) of the benefits accrued from the above dogs separately as per each force?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether arrangements will be made to obtain more dogs to the above forces from foreign countries; and
(ii) if so, of the projected expenditure of the above purpose separately as per each force?
(b) If not, why?
