Hon. (Mrs.) Rohini Kumari Wijerathna,—To ask the Minister of Sports,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which Dambulla International Cricket Stadium was opened;
(ii) of the total amount of money that was spent on the construction of the aforesaid stadium;
(iii) of the sources of funding for the aforesaid construction;
(iv) of the number of test matches, one-day matches and 20-20 matches that have been played at the aforesaid stadium from the date it was opened to date;
(v) of the income earned through those matches;
(vi) of the number of employees employed at the aforesaid stadium, and out of those employees, separately of the number of those who have been employed right under Sri Lanka Cricket and the number of those who belong to the District Cricket Association; and
(vii) of the steps that will be taken to absorb all those employees to Sri Lanka Cricket?
(b) If not, why?
