Hon. Sunil Handunnetti,— To ask the Minister of Home Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether a competitive examination was held on 31.12.2016 and interviews were conducted during the two days of 13th and 14th March 2017 and 14.03.2017 and recruitments were made on 09.06.2017 for the post of Technical Officer of the Sri Lanka Technical Service (Grade III) in the Ministry of Home Affairs;
(ii) the reasons for the cancellation of the appointment of Miss R.K.S. Prasanga by the letter dated 31.07.2017 of the Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs after appointing her to the Matara district and paying salaries for two months; and
(iii) as to why such matters were not considered at the time of appointment?
(b) If not, why?
