Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether the Chief Minister of the Uva Province has launched a project to develop under-developed villages of the Uva Province;
(ii) if so, of the objectives of the aforementioned Project;
(iii) of the names of the villages which have been selected for the project up to now;
(iv) of the projects which have already been launched to develop each of the aforesaid villages;
(v) whether he will submit separately the names and addresses of the persons who obtained tenders for the aforementioned projects together with the amounts of money paid; and
(vi) of the methodology adopted to grant tenders?
(b) If not, why?
