Hon. Ashoka Priyantha,— To ask the Minister of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education ,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of families in Puttalam district that has faced with the problem of drinking water;
(ii) the names of the Grama Niladhari divisions in which the such families live;
(iii) the steps taken under the project named “Puttalamata Navodaya’’ to provide solutions to the problem of drinking water;
(iv) the number of families that has been provided with drinking water facilities by now under the aforesaid project on the basis of Grama Niladhari divisions in Puttalam district; and
(v) the steps that will be taken by the Ministry to resolve the issue of drinking water in Puttalam district?
(b) If not, why?
