Hon. Shehan Semasinghe,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development and Youth Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of vehicles in running condition in the Sri Lanka Police;
(ii) separately, the brand and the police station to which such vehicles belong; and
(iii) the number of vehicles suitable for running at present?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the number of vehicles purchased by the Sri Lanka Police from the year 2000 up to September 2018;
(ii) the institutions from which the said vehicles were purchased;
(iii) the vehicles purchased from the said institutions;
(iv) whether loan facilities have been granted for that purpose; and
(v) if so, the institutions which have extended loan facilities?
(c) If not, why?
