Hon. T. Ranjith De Zoysa,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development and Youth Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of graduates who forwarded applications in response to a news paper advertisement published by the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs for recruiting unemployed graduates for training in the public institutions through an interview;
(ii) the number of graduates who appeared for that interview in relation to each district, separately; and
(iii) the number of graduates who were recruited for training following the interview?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether the graduates were categorized as internal and external graduates when they were recruited for the relevant training;
(ii) if so, the number of internal and external graduates recruited in relation to each district, separately;
(iii) whether a problematic situation arose when awarding letters of appointment to the external graduates?
(c) If not, why?
