Hon. S. Viyalenderan,— To ask the Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the steps taken by the Commission against the illegal acquisition of a land belonging to the Land Reform Commission (LRC) in the Punnakuda area of the Batticoloa District; and
(ii) of the steps taken by the Commission regarding the land which should come under the Land Reform Commission (LRC) in Batticaloa District as per the Land (Restriction on Alienation) Act.;
(b) Will he also inform this House of the steps taken by the Land Reform Commission against the illegal activities related to LRC lands, as per the inquiry made by the District Secretary through the letter No. ADMGC (MN) 3/7 dated 16.05.2016?
(c) Will he further inform this House —
(i) of the steps taken by the chairman of the LRC with regard to the Commission report which was appointed under No. MADA/75/76/77 dated 26.09.2016; and
(ii) of the steps taken by the Chairman of the LRC regarding the Investigation Committee Report No. CH/LRC/01 dated 10.08.2017 which was appointed as per the instructions of the Prime Minister?
(d) Will he take steps to submit the reports referred to in (c) above to this House?
(e) If not, why?
