Hon. Hesha Withanage,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the basic educational qualifications taken into consideration when the teachers are recruited to Pirivena educational institutions;
(ii) whether there are vacancies in Pirivena educational institutions;
(iii) if so, of the number of vacancies for teachers; and
(iv) of the steps that have been taken by Piriven Education Board of the Ministry to uplift the pirivena education?
(b) If not, why?
