Hon. Mohomad Muzammil,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House separately—
(i) the amount allocated for innovation and research in each year during the period from the year 2015 up to 2020; and
(ii) the amount allocated for innovation and research in each year mentioned above as a percentage of the total budget of the said year;
(iii) the number of innovations registered in each year mentioned above?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the methodology that should be adopted in obtaining a patent licence;
(ii) whether a programme has been formulated to minimize the financial difficulties faced by the innovators;
(iii) if so, the aforesaid programme?
If not, why?
