Hon. (Ven.) Ellawala Medhananda Thero,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs,—
(a) Will he state —
(i) the measures taken to improve the quality of Public Service during the period from year 2006 up to now;
(ii) the relief received by the public servants and the people through those measures;
(iii) the manner in which action has been taken to increase the number of public servants, within the last 5 years;
(iv) the measures expected to be taken in future to make the Public Service an efficient service; and
(v) the relief that would be granted to public servants through those measures?
(b) If not, why?
