Hon. Sivasakthy Ananthan,— To ask the Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the amount of money allocated by the Governor of the Northern Province to Vavuniya Urban Council in year 2009 for the eradication of dengue;
(ii) of the reasons for not submitting the accounts reports and details relevant to the spending of that amount of money to the Urban Council up to now; and
(iii) whether steps will be taken to have those accounts reports and details submitted to the Urban Council?
(b) If not, why?
