Hon. (Mrs.) Rajika Wickramasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of children's homes operating under the Department of Probation and Childcare Services;
(ii) out of the aforesaid number of children's homes, of the number of girls' homes and the number of boys' homes separately;
(iii) of the number of children receiving care in those centres; and
(iv) of the number of children's homes run by other trusts and by the private sector?
(b) If not, why?
