Hon. Ajith Mannapperuma,— To ask the Minister of Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation,—
(a) Will she inform this House—
(i) whether she is aware of the fact that the forest Reserves of Wattegama-Kabiliththa and Kotiyagala in Monaragala are conserved forests of Yala and Kumana forest system;
(ii) is she aware that attempts are being made by a certain group of people to fragment the said forest reserves; and
(iii) of the measures that will be taken to protect the aforesaid forest reserves?
(b) If not, why?
