Hon. Imran Maharoof,— To ask Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) a certain number of graduates who had been assigned to Divisional Secretariats in year 2020 as graduate trainees have later been assigned to schools; and
(ii) the aforesaid group are called back to those government institutions during the school vacation?
(b) Will he inform this House whether it is as Teachers or as Development Officers that the graduate trainees referred to in (a) (i) above will be appointed upon the completion of their training period?
(c) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the basis on which the above mentioned graduate trainees are serving; and
(ii) the date on which they would be confirmed in service?
(d) If not, why?
