Hon. Imran Maharoof,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of people who have received employment from 2020 to 2021 as part of the programme to provide 100,000 jobs in accordance with the policy statement “Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour”; and
(ii) of the mechanism to provide the remaining number of jobs that haven’t been provided until now?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the number of Sinhalese, Tamils, and Muslims who received jobs under this programme with respect to each district;
(ii) of the number of people who received jobs in the Eastern Province under this programme;
(iii) of the number of people who received jobs in the Eastern Province with respect to each district; and
(iv) of the number of people who received jobs in the Trincomalee district with respect to each divisional secretariat division?
(c) If not, why?
