Hon. U. K. Sumith Udukumbura,—To ask the Minister of Power and Energy,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the reason for the power crisis that has emerged in Sri Lanka;
(ii) whether relevant authorities had predicted of such a power crisis;
(iii) whether short term and long term solutions had been sought out to resolve the power crisis; and
(iv) what measures will be taken to avert such power crisis in due course?
(b) If not, why?
