Hon. R. Yogarajan,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he state pertaining to the recently granted promotions to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) —
(i) the names of the applicants; and
(ii) the names of the officers promoted?
(b) Will he inform this House whether 70 marks were granted to each applicant based on the seniority and personal records and 30 marks were granted based on the performances at the interview?
(c) Will he inform this House separately—
(i) the marks obtained by each candidate based on seniority and personal records and the ranking; and
(ii) the rank obtained by each candidate based on the interview and the marks obtained under c (i) ?
(d) Will he state—
(i) the names of the members in the interview board; and
(ii) the authority who appointed the interview board?
(e) If not, why?
