Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha,—To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which the incident concerning the deletion of data from the computers of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority was reported;
(ii) of the names and addresses, separately, of the officers alleged to have been involved in the deletion of the said data;
(iii) whether he is aware that the said deletion facilitated opportunities for large-scale acts of fraud; and
(iv) of the progress of the investigations conducted in this regard;
(b) If not, why?
