Hon. Hector Appuhamy,— To ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of Sri Lankan workers who have migrated to Israel to work as caregivers from 2015 up to now;
(ii) procedure that has been adopted in selecting them;
(iii) steps that have been taken to provide them with the necessary training; and
(iv) measures that have been taken to provide the job opportunities referred to above in a transparent manner?
(b) If not, why?
