Hon. M. Nizam Kariapper, PC,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (2)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) of the details of all approved projects to be implemented in Eastern Province of Sri Lanka under the assistance of the Government of India, pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the President of Sri Lanka and the Prime Minister of India during Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Sri Lanka;
(ii) of the process followed in identifying and approving each of the above projects separately;
(iii) whether relevant stakeholders were consulted during the process of identifying the aforesaid projects; and
(iv) if so, of the names and other relevant details of individuals/entities consulted?
(b) If not, why?
