Hon. Ruwanthilaka Jayakody,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether he is aware that there are farmers in Sri Lanka who produce agricultural crops, targeting the exportation of them;
(ii) of the facilities that they have been provided with to export their agricultural products;
(iii) of the role of the Department of Export Agriculture; and
(iv) of the facilities and accesses that have been provided by the said department for the young entrepreneurs to export their agricultural products without impediment or inconvenience?
(b) If not, why?
