Hon. (Mrs.) Nilanthi Kottahachchi, Attorney at Law,—To ask the Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of complaints received as of now by the Police Stations in the Western Province regarding the continued financial frauds committed for a long time by the company ‘Park Properties (Private) Limited’, which is engaged in the business of buying and selling land and has its business head office at No. 362 D, Kaduwela Road, Malabe;
(ii) current progress of the investigations conducted by the Mirihana Special Crime Investigation Division of the Sri Lanka Police regarding the company concerned; and
(iii) number of cases filed in various courts throughout the island in relation to the above complaints?
(b) If not, why?
