Hon. (Mrs.) Rosy Senanayake,— To ask the Minister of Child Development and Women’s Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the total number of complaints;
(ii) separately, the number of complaints received from each District; and
(iii) separately, the number of complaints received from each age category;
with regard to violence against women during the period between 2008 and 2012?
(b) Will he also inform this House of the number of complaints on incidents of violence against women received against persons who are connected to politics as per the police records?
(c) If not, why?
