Hon. (Mrs.) Rosy Senanayake,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he state separately—
(i) the number of individuals convicted for rape; and
(ii) the number of individuals convicted for murdering women;
on each of the years between 2008 and 2012?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) separately, of the number of individuals connected to politics who were found guilty of rape and murder of women during the above period of time; and
(ii) of the punishments meted out to those offenders?
(c) If not, why?
