      Hon. Buddhika Pathirana;— To ask the Minister of Mass Media and               Information,—

      (a) Will he admit that—

      (i) theoretical knowledge on the field of motor mechanism which is developing rapidly creating a large number of direct and indirect employment opportunities can be imparted through the electronic media;

      (ii) it is important to create a media culture for the advancement of this sector; and

      (iii) only a handful of programmes on motor mechanism are being broadcast through the electronic media at present?

      (b) If so, will he inform this House whether time will be allotted over the electronic channels to broadcast programmes relevant to the field of motor mechanism?

      (c) If not why?
