      Hon.   (Mrs.) Thalatha Atukorale,— To ask the Minister of Co-operatives and Internal Trade,—

      (a) Will he state—

      (i) whether the Consumer Affairs Authority has given permission to increase the price of milk powder;

      (ii) if so, the date on which the permission was given;

      (iii) whether there is a maximum retail price for milk powder; and

      (iv) if so, what that price is?

      (b) Will he inform this House of the action taken by the Consumer Affairs Authority against certain milk powder companies who sell milk powder exceeding the maximum retail price arbitrarily that has been approved to sell milk powder?

      (c) If not, why?
